The discussions of the four topics take place over one-and-a-half days and will be presented on the third and final day of the EYD. Each theme will be debated by a round table comprised of around 25 people. In order to enable a smooth discussion and provide some direction, each round table will be chaired by two members of European Generation.
We look for productive discussion and out-of-the box thinking. The discussions have to be carried out in a polite way, respecting other's opinions and avoiding disrupting behaviours. The goal of each round table is to create a presentable document or presentation that will outline the major conclusions and suggestions. This will be presented during the final Pleanary Assembly of the EYD.
In order to channel the debate, each topic will be documented with several guiding questions and a recommended reading list that the participants should consult before the European Youth Debate.
