Europe Day @Expo2015

European Generation partecipated as an official delegation of our university (thanks to Bocconi's European Documentation Center) at the Europe Day, an annual celebration of peace and unity in Europe also known as Schuman Day, at Expo Milano 2015, with an incredible day full of unforgettable moments.

May 9th, Saturday, 2015

Before the beginning, Michele and Davide did not miss the chance to take a photo with the President of the EP, Martin Schulz, with our unfailing blackboard.

The two European representants met citizens, students and EXPO visitors to talk about the European Union, a sustainable future, and the role of Europe in the world.

Our visit continued until evening with a tour of the Universal Exposition. We all had a great day...
Thanks go to our friends Paola Centola and Giuseppe Idone for their photographic service.

We also want to thank Dott.ssa Tiziana Dassi who supported us and permitted our participation to the Europe Day.

With this fantastic experience we ended in style our academic year.

At the end of the "Citizens Dialogue" a parade made of students with fluttering EU flags started from the auditorium and ended in front of the European Union pavilion. We were there and we filmed that unusual event.

You will not be surpised to know that we were the first to ask a question.

Here's an extract from live tv recordings of the meeting, with the chat between our president Michele Verde and Martin Schulz.

In particular we have been to the Citizens Dialogue at the Expo Auditorium, with the extraordinary participation of the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz and High Representative/Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini.
